EAP helps minorities, women, dislocated workers and individuals with a disability interested in starting a business by providing instruction, training, technical assistance and support services. Assistance focuses on developing basic business management skills, refining business concepts, devising early-stagemarketing plans and preparation of action plans, as well as help with business financing. Additional services provide help with product development and marketing, exporting, contract procurement and licensing. Ongoing and continued technical assistance includes linkages to other small business services.
