OVBD is dedicated to serving veteran entrepreneurs by formulating, executing and promoting policies and programs to assist veterans in starting and developing small business ventures. SBA District Offices can help you prepare and plan for your entrepreneurial adventure, as well as provide direction for becoming a certified disabled veteran business enterprise. From service to start-up, this three-step training program is offered by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) as an elective track within the Department of Defense's revised Training Assistance Program called Transition Goals, Plans, Success (Transition GPS). The program provides valuable assistance to transitioning service members who are exploring self-employment opportunities by leading them through the key steps for evaluating business concepts and the foundational knowledge required for developing a business plan.

American Corporate Partners (ACP) is a nationwide mentoring program dedicated to helping veterans transition from the armed services to the civilian workforce through mentoring, career counseling, and networking with professionals from some of America's finest corporations and select universities. ACP is not a jobs program, but a tool for networking and long-term career development.

Entrepreneurial Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities

The Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV) is an educational program that offers cutting-edge training in entrepreneurship and small business management to post-9/11 military veterans disabled as a result of their service to our country. The intent of the EBV is to open the door to entrepreneurship and small business ownership to our veterans, by developing competencies in accounting, human resources, marketing, advertising, financing, small business law, government contracts, and business planning. This program is entirely without cost to the veteran, including travel, lodging, meals, and all program costs, yet requires meeting specific eligibility requirements and submitting a formal application.

The Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) is a program office within the Department's Office of Small and Disadvantaged Utilization (OSDBU) that assists veteran-owned small businesses (VOSBs) and service-disabled Veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSBs) in registering and pursuing government contract opportunities.

Use no-cost online video presentation application to create, publish and track compelling sales, marketing, training, elearning and related business communication messaging. Easy-to-use, online, self-service authoring tool lets you combine slides, images, video, surveys, documents and voice to produce effective business communication strategies.
