SBTAP works with small business owners to develop solutions to environmental problems. This non-regulatory program provides confidential information about regulatory requirements and practical, cost-effective technical assistance to encourage compliance with environmental regulations with an emphasis on the Clean Air Act (CAAA) requirements. The Small Business Ombudsman represents the small business community in CAAA and other environmentally related matters, conducts studies, advocates regulatory issues tot he U.S. EPA and DES.
